'Lit cigarettes, painkillers and a bottle of gin and tonic
Removing me of all the pain that was ever craved
Clear skies and autumn leaves,
Helping me escape the truth and all the pain'
'You never loved me, but I did
You never cared, but I did
You never smiled, but I did'
'Love is blind, love is unkind
Love knows no limits, love can stab you till you die
Love sees no physical beauty, love exists for the prettiest
Love sees no gender, love kills the innocent people'
'But out of all that, I still love you
I love your smile and the dimple you show
The little pads on my shoulder when you giggle
the way you act as if you don't care but panics
when something goes wrong'
'Out of all that, I still love you
But no one will know, no one will show'

Broke Students Guide To Sunday (Chapter 3)
Sup guys! Sunday's are usually the worst day of the week for me, because the next day is Monday and Monday = school and school = me having to finish my homework. So, I have the mindset since young that Sunday morning = enjoy and Sunday night = DEATH. But today is a little different, I took the liberty to go out with my friends to 'explore' Singapore and their food. I stay at the west side so Arnold's fried chicken is just next level from what the west has to offer. So, I told my friends that we would be visiting Geylang first for Arnold's and man was it worth the trip
Get a few friends to visit this place with you, you all can spend quality time with them and enjoy quality food. I don't know if it's just me but Arnold's fried chicken is just step up from KFC or other fast food places that sell fried chicken. Maybe it's the spices they use or just the plating, but the chicken really brings me to a whole new world and it is actually not that expensive as well, 2 pieces of chicken with coleslaw and fries only cost $7.40. If you are visiting with 4 friends each person can devour 1 piece of chicken and you only need to pay $3.70! You might not be full but that's okay, because the day is still young and the next location will definitely make you full.
(Stop at Paya Lebar MRT station and enjoy the free shuttle bus service to one KM mall and just walk cross a traffic light and you will arrive at city plaza :) )
address for the outlet @ Geylang
Arnold's Fried Chicken, 810 Geylang Rd, City Plaza, Singapore 40928
After the meal, you could explore the places around the shopping centres before heading to the next location. We went to explore the Singapore post centre(?) place which is currently under renovation and man just go all the way up to level 14 and exit via the staircase, that place is spectacular. Pictures taken there would definitely be as amazing as this one.
From Paya Lebar MRT take a 22-minute train ride to Queenstown MRT exit via exit B and take 195 (2 stops) and alight and you will see a gigantic IKEA. You must be wondering why broke students might be visiting IKEA, well that's because IKEA has one of the most delicious and affordable good food! Their chicken wing, meatballs and salmon are to die for (i won't recommend you get the cake from there) but different people have preferences but I personally do not really like the cake.
Before we went to attack the restaurant that serves the main course, we went to the snack section at level 1 to get their infamous $0.50 ice-cream and hotdog bun. The whole set (Hotdog bun, ice-cream and drink) only cost $2.50! and damn the ice-cream is amazing!
After that, we went to level 2 for the restaurant and we ordered a shit load of food. We got 6 chicken wings for $3 (Promotion price), 15 Swedish meatballs with mash potato for $8.50 and salmon sashimi for $6.50. We didn't get drinks because the drinks we got from the hotdog bun combo makes us qualify for the free refill. They also have lotus rice and many many other foods but since we specifically came for this three items, we didn't bother getting other food. The entire meal cost $18 and it was $18 well spent.
After that, you can visit anchor point just directly opposite of IKEA, they have a TYPO outlet, Charles & Keith and a cotton on, which is always on sale and their sale is no joke cheap. But since I didn't plan a budget for shopping, I didn't get anything but if you had extra cash, it is worth your time to check that place out.
address for this outlet:
317 Alexandra Rd, 159965
Total Spendings: $13.50 (make sure your ez-link card is loaded)
<BTW I visited with 3 friends so the food we shared are all equally divided by 3>

Broke Students Guide To Movie Night (Chapter 2)
Sup guys, my god when i thought of watching a movie, i would never expect myself to catch a night movie because:
1. It is very expensive (Student price from morning-5pm: $6, normal price $12.50)
2. I hate going out till very late because i'm too lazy to travel all the way home
3. QUEUE FOR FOOD IS LONG EVERYWHERE
Anyways, ignoring the 3 complains, if you were to visit jem/jcube for a movie, do visit this Japanese restaurant at westgate for dinner, they serve ramen and free upsize of noodle from x2 all the way to x5!! And trust me when i say x3 is already too much. So if you were to check this restaurant out, i recommend you either have light lunch or just skip lunch. Their ramen range from $14.90 - $19.90 (with free noodle upsize, excluding drinks) without GST and service charge. So needless to say, one meal which cost $15.90 might add up to $18?
I had the chicken cutlet noodle with x3 noodle upsize. It might not look much, but man the portion is HUMONGOUS. i usually take about 10-15 minutes to finish my meal, but when i tackled this beast, i took up to 30 minutes. But man it was worth it.
After the dinner, me and my friend went to catch a night movie 'A dog's purpose'. Definitely a must watch. I'm not going to list out the pro's of the movie because there's just too much. This might not be the cheapest of things to do, but if you were to bring a girl out, just go online to marketplace like carousell, gumtree etc and search for the movie, people usually sell premiere screening of tickets at lower pricing compared to the rate the cinema sells at. If you're broke as fuck start saving 1-2 weeks before asking her out, pay for her ticket and always share your food with her. After that, you never know, your status might just change from single to taken depending on how much of a gentlemen you are.
(Do check out my previous blog post :) )
Total spending's for movie night: $30

Feels (1/3/17)
'You are something out of the ordinary,
Something extraordinary,
Something about you makes me feel like i'm the one and only
I'm not the cheesy kind of person, I'm not the affectionate kind either
but i just want to tell you, it's not just an affection
i thought it was bad enough,
that it was all just one-sided.. but the worst was,
when i can't help but continue to fall deeply inlove with someone,
that i know will just bring me pain
I hope it was all just a dream,
something i can wake up from and slowly,
it will all just fade away,
I want to wake up one day,
and just laugh at how in love i was,
in love with something that could never be,
with someone by my side,
someone i can call mine.'

Broke Students Guide To Hunting Down Tumblr Worthy Places (Chapter 1)
Sup guys ;) it's been very very very long since i last did an update. I'm so sorry about that.. i have been constantly working to the point where i forgot to have a social life in general.. but hey, since school started that means i have more time to do enjoy my teenage years and not tell my future child 'Huh what? Go out!? How about be like daddy and go and find a job instead.' Damn i would slap me if i ever became someone like that.. So to celebrate my return (Hopefully i'll stay prolong for this time) i decided to start a new series a new 'broke students guide' series (even though my last broke students guide series only lasted like what 2 days..) so this time i shall number it in the form of chapters instead. and i'll stop at chapter 30 unless i feel like doing more and if people actually wanna see more. So enough of me bullshitting now let's head to the good stuff ;)
Today, i'll introduce to you guys a spot in Singapore that has been going off the charts this recent years, and it's wait for it BUKIT TIMAH RAILWAY STATION if you don't already know, there is no longer anymore 'Trains' at the bukit timah railway station since 2011 and now, it is just a place for people to go and explore and take cool shots.
Beside's the railway, there are also some tumblr worthy 'forest like' places hidden deeper within the area. It is located at King Albert Park MRT Station, just about 3 mins walk to get there
WARNING
If you want to explore places without alot of people. For example, the 'forest like' place, please bring along a amulet or something that can wear off sprites. I'm the type of person that believes ghost and spirits exists and the place i visited did bring chills down my spine when i first entered. There was a spot which i believe had caught on fire. The branches and the residue of the fire was still there after so many years and believe it or not, the railway is actually also haunted. For thrill seekers out there, you all can google it and i believe someone actually blogged about what specific time you can go to encounter the spirits.
But apart from that, it's really a very nice place to visit the best part is it doesn't cost anything!! After the long day of photo-taking, you can head over to Beauty World MRT Station and grab a bite at bukit timah food center. i highly recommend Hambaobao, for more details about that store, you can check it out from my previous blog post. Bukit timah is also very famous for their 'korean street' which is located right opposite of bukit timah plaza, they carry a wide range of korean restaurants and of course my favorite a bingsu store! The price range of bingsu around the area is almost the same. i had the mix berries bingsu for $15.80, the thing i like about this place is that it has free wi-fi and a very cosy and comfortable dining area. So if you want to paktor this is a very good place to go ;) and that concludes my day, and in total i only spent $20 for food and expenses. If you were to bring your own water and light snack etc, you won't even spend as much as i did. So if you're bored at home or on a budget, this is definitely the way to go!
