BROKE STUDENTS GUIDE TO SURVIVING THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS (Day 4)

SOOO, Hello guys i almost didn't write today because i was just too tired but well i did make a promise to do it everyday so here i am lying on my bed, typing to the 7 REAL HUMAN BEINGS reading this blog ;) So today we will be talking about work, more of how to handle it. In every teenagers life, there comes a point where they would have to wear their big boy pants and go get a job because parents will start making noise about 'how lazy you are' and 'how you only know how to take and not earn money' and ya even if you come from a very well off family and your parents treat you like a diamond in a sea of plastic, working provides an experience, one you can't get laying around the house all day. If you actually did read my previous blog post, i do already have a job so why am i talking about work well that's because i kind off found another job (hahaha) i really wasn't expecting this because i only went out today to go to an interview with my friend not to get a job (!?!) but when i was there, the lady was very very nice and yes i'm happy with my current job but it doesn't hurt to venture into more jobs right? So i would be making a jump from F&B to Retail and ya i'm really happy about it :)) So how do you actually get a job? well there are many many many sources like walking along a mall and noticing every single store to look for a hiring sign or just go online such as websites like Fastjobs or carousell. Since like i said ill be making a jump from f&b to retail, the manager did recommend me to do research on what is the latest kinds of shoes and how to find the best fit for customers and yes that was what i have been doing for the past 2 hours and the information i collected was mind-blowing... follow me on snapchat @chuamingxuan because i do update there often :) Oh so what better way to study with a to get a book dedicated to that topic right so i did and since THE PAPER STONE had a sale and it made my life like x10000 better because i get to buy fucking nice designs notebooks at half off!!! we also did went to bugis after the interview @chinatown and that already took up almost all of my day, we went out at 11.30am and was only back at 6pm. But it was a very productive day plus i didn't spend much money :)) So if you do wanna go out but don't wanna spend much money, just go job hunting!!! It will take up almost all of your day and saves a fire from burning in your pants ;)

BROKE STUDENTS GUIDE TO SURVIVING THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS (Day 3)

HELLO GUYS, It's so pathetic because only like 10 people view this blog deducing the 2-3 from the blogger group so it's like 7 people (?) But ya hahahaha i'll still continue updating everyday as long as there's more than 10 people viewing the blog :) So you must be wondering why there isn't like a 'BROKE STUDENTS GUIDE TO SURVIVING THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS (Day 2)' well that's because i went for the Topman/Topshop voucher giveaway and i'm still deducing on what and which picture to post so give me time okay. Day 3, today we shall focus more on the food side okay. As a singaporean i find local food kind of 'boring' because it's the same old kind of food almost everyday. I mean if you can't cook or just too lazy to cook, you'll just dabao  from your nearby coffee shop and sooner or later you'll just get sick and tired of the food choices and just stick to the usual such as chicken rice or fried rice because it's filling and it's just the 'go to' when you have no idea WTF to eat. And since it's the holiday's you would wanna travel from maybe the east to the west in search of new types of food or just a new environment to eat the same old chicken rice hahahaha. If you're broke asf and still wants to travel to hunt for food, i would totally recommend you guys to go to BEAUTY WORLD/BUKIT TIMAH. Since the introduction of the downtown line life has been so much easier and travelling from east to the west has never been easier, and bukit timah is the gold mine of cheap and delicious food. If you haven heard, there is this American/Chinese/Peranakan food store which serves those 3 kinds of cuisines but with a twist (SPOILER: AS BURGERS) and if you didn't know, making authentic Peranakan food is such a task and all i can say is 'damn' when i had their burger, it has a very complicated flavor, the burger i ate is like a blast of salted vegetable and chicken all perfectly seasoned just oh my fucking god it's amazing. i have never tried 'ayam buah keluak' before and this encounter with this amazing burger made me wanna try the real deal hahahaha. So the price of the burger is $5, $6 with fries and if i was you, i would totally get the fries as well because for $1 it's very worth it and you do get quite a large quantity as well! i will leave the address down below so if you guys are interested you can check it out :)

Hambaobao
144 Upper Bukit Timah Road
#04-49 Beauty World Centre, Beauty World Centre, 588177

After Hambaobao we went roaming around the shopping mall and wanted to have desert, so what better way to cool ourselves down from the excruciating heat of singapore then with bingsu right! I mean there is many many many bingsu places in singapore with very good bingsu but since we're already at Beauty world and the fact that we're both so lazy to travel, we actually went google for the nearest bingsu place hahaha and what we found is not really the place that we google-ed for. But the place we found was probably x10 better then the place that google recommended. It is located directly infront of bukit timah plaza or directly infront of the Ngee ann poly school sign. It is a very small cafe with just alittle more than 10 tables providing a very cosy environment and the fact that it's fully air-conditioned is just a plus point. Their bingsu range from $12-$16 and the serving is HUGE. I'm not even kidding. It requires at least 2 person to finish it. They have many different flavoured bingsu such as 'Devil's Bingsu' or 'Cheesecake Bingsu' and 'Tiramisu Bingsu' and many more but we went and had the tiramisu bingsu which was kind of interesting because I've never really heard or seen anything like it before and in general it is amazing as fyck, they coated the base with sweet coffee, followed by shaven ice with cheese cake and another layer of shaved ice with whipped cream, topped-off with coco powder for the whole tiramisu flavor and the bingsu experience. For $16, i can guarantee you a once in a lifetime experience 100% recommended (oh and if you were to share with a friend you'd only be paying $8 (SO NO COMPLAINS)) As usual the address will be left below
